It is January and you know that mean that everyone is making their new year's resolution goals for 2021. Making changes to your life for the better is something we should aspire to do, not just at the beginning of the year, but at any time that we notice there is something in our lives that is causing more harm than good. I know for me personally that looking at my goals for the year can be overwhelming so here are some tips that can make this task a little easier.
1. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PROGRESS
Write everything down so that you can see how far you have come and how much you have achieved. Do not just focus on today, but look at the big picture and what you have accomplished.
2. BREAK DOWN YOUR GOALS
Achieving ones overall goal can be very intimidating when one looks at it at as a whole, but if you break it down into smaller goals it won't seem as scary.
3. ALWAYS BE WORKING TOWARDS YOUR GOAL
While there will be times when you will be so focused on working to move forward that you may not consider the end result. It's necessary to take the time and think about where you are going. Envisioning your success can help keep you motivated.
4. ALLOW YOUR GOALS TO CHANGE
When working on your goal, you may find that it may need to be changed some. Be willing to tell yourself that it is okay to alter your goal some.
5. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP
There may be a time where your journey to your goal may seem too difficult or may have reached a roadblock. Do not be afraid to reach out to someone and see if they can give you some insight that will help you in your journey.
6. CELEBRATE EVERY ACHIEVEMENT
Anytime you accomplish something towards your overall goal, CELEBRATE IT! It may not seem like much, but you have done something that other may not have done and you should be proud of that.
I hope these tips help you in achieving not only your long term but also your short term goals. Remember you are not alone in this. We all have our goals to achieve. Let's make this year a year to be remembered and let us grow together.
Morgan and Adolfo are superb instructors and incredibly welcoming, the staff is always awesome, and everyone that comes in has a great attitude. I've only been attending classes for a little over a month now but I look forward to coming in every week. I like how there's no contract to worry about and that FtF offers a variety of classes every day, minus Sunday of course. In short, Krav Maga is great and this gym is great.
Since starting in August, Fit to Fight®️ has become one of the highlights of my week! The training is great, Morgan and Adolfo are excellent at breaking down precisely how to improve and they push their students hard yet with a lot of support.
For beginners they build up really well from the fundamentals, so if you've never done martial arts before, this is a great place to start!
Great place to train. Had a great time, good for the whole family, from beginner to advance really good energy. Weather you're wanting to learn how to defend yourself or just to exercise with a group of people that truly care that you succeed, no better place than Fit to Fight Atlanta.
